「お父ちゃん、まだかなぁ……」
4歳のななかが積み木で遊びながら、テレビのアニメをぼんやり眺めている。
突然、画面にノイズが走った。
「……？ ！」
ジジジ……と砂嵐に覆われたテレビの中から——
「……キャッチ・ザ・ウェーブ」
赤いサングラス、長い銀髪。画面の向こうに現れた少女が、静かにそう言った。
次の瞬間、テレビはまた普通のアニメに戻る。
「………」
幼いななかは、ただ画面を見つめていた。

Zzzzt— The screen fills with noise.
And through the static, someone appears.
”…Catch the Wave.”
Red sunglasses. Long silver hair. A girl on the other side of the screen, speaking quietly.
Then — just like that — the cartoon comes back on.

The little girl sat there, staring at the screen.
