『放課後の「マックス・ジャンプ」』
夕暮れ時。部活帰りのにこが、トレードマークのショートボブをなびかせながら颯爽と歩いていた。
ふと——公園の入り口で立ち止まる。
しゃがみ込んで、泣いている小さな女の子がいた。
「……どうしたんだ？ そんなところで泣いて。迷子か？」
少女がしゃくり上げながら指を差す。
「ううっ……お姉ちゃん……。あのね、お気に入りのキーホルダーが……あんな高いところに……っ」
にこが視線を上げると——大きな街路樹の、人間の背丈を遥かに超えた高い枝に、キラキラした猫のキーホルダーが引っかかっていた。
「なるほど。風で飛ばされたのか。」
「……高さは約4.5メートル。この姿じゃ届かねーな……」
にこはカバンを地面に置き、手首のスマートウォッチをピッと操作した。
周囲に人影がないことを確認する。
次の瞬間——身体を電撃が走る。
「ウォーデンクリフ・タワー！！」
マジカル♡タワーに変身した。
脚に、バチバチッ——と電気が帯びる。
爆発的なバネとなって、地面を蹴る。
「ふっ……！！」
まるで重力を無視したかのような、高い跳躍。
それはまさに人知を越えた——ヒーローの動き。
空中でひらりと身を翻し、指先で正確にキーホルダーをキャッチ。
そのまま音もなく、猫のようにしなやかに着地する。
「ほら、これ。……もう失くさないように、しっかり付けておくんだぞ」
少女が口をポカーンと開けて見上げた。
「……すごぉい……！ お姉ちゃん、魔法使いさんなの！？」
少女から満面の笑みで「ありがとう！魔法使いのお姉ちゃん！」と言われ、タワーは少し照れくさそうに頭をかいた。
「魔法使い、ね……。私としては肉弾戦のが得意なんだがな……」
とぼそっと呟く。
ピピッ——スマートウォッチが鳴った。
「いっけね、夕食の準備しねーと！」
変身が解け、再びにこの姿に戻る。
にこは再びショートボブをなびかせ、夕日に向かって猛烈なスピードで駆け出していった——。

『After-School “Max Jump”』
After-school. The sun was getting low.
Niko was walking home from club practice, her signature short bob catching the breeze — when she stopped.
At the entrance to a small park, a little girl was crouching on the ground, crying.
”…Hey. What’s wrong? Why are you crying out here? Did you get lost?”
The girl looked up, sniffling, and pointed upward.
“Uwuu… Miss… my favourite keychain… it’s stuck up there… waaaay up there…!”
Niko followed the girl’s finger. High in the branches of a large roadside tree — far above any normal person’s reach — a small cat keychain dangled and glittered in the breeze.
“Got it. Wind blew it up there, huh.”
”…About 4.5 metres up. No way I’m reaching that like this…”
Niko set her bag down on the ground. She tapped the smartwatch on her wrist with a quick pip.
She glanced around. Nobody nearby.
A surge of electricity crackled across her body.
“Wardenclyffe Tower!!”
She transformed into Magical♡Tower.
Crackle — crackle — electricity gathered in her legs.
An explosive burst of energy. She pushed off the ground—
“Hff——!!”
A jump that defied gravity. Rising, rising, rising.
A hero’s leap.
She spun in the air — and caught the keychain between her fingertips with perfect precision.
She landed without a sound. Smooth. Like a cat.
“Here. …Don’t lose it again. Make sure it’s clipped on properly.”
The girl’s mouth dropped open.
”…Whoooaaa…! Are you a wizard, big sis?!”
The girl beamed up at her with a huge smile. “Thank you!! Thank you, wizard big sis!!”
Tower scratched the back of her head, looking just a little bit flustered.
“Wizard, huh… Honestly, I’m more of a hand-to-hand combat type…”
she muttered to herself.
Beep beep — Her smartwatch chimed.
“Oh no, I have to start dinner—!”
Her transformation released. She was Niko again.
She took off running — short bob flying, racing into the setting sun at full speed.
