今回は一条ななかシリーズの続きです！
『解明の足取り』
怪人に追い詰められたその場所へ——次々と仲間が集結する。
「へっ！生きてっか!?」
雷を纏ったくららが怪人に迫る。タイミングを見計らったように紫の翼をはためかせてイビルゲートが降り立つ。
「お待たせいたしました」
「イビルゲート！」
遅れてかなえが駆けつける。
「おまたせ〜！ちょっと道に迷っちゃって〜！」
四方を囲まれた怪人が、ぎょろりと目を光らせた。
「ブザー……！みんな……！」
その瞬間——怪人が叫ぶ。
「キャッチ・ザ・ウェーブ！！」
「！？」
マジカル♡ノイズのななかが、弾かれたように反応する。
「ちょっ——待て！」
怪人が不敵な笑みを浮かべた瞬間——その姿が砂粒のようにバラバラに崩れ、空間に溶け込むように消えてしまう。
「待ったんかいコラぁ！！逃げんのかワレ！！」
「また何も一つ大事なこと聞いてへんやろ！！」
ノイズが虚空を掴む。よくに手を伸ばすが、そこには敵の残影だけが残る。
くららが素早く腕のデバイスに目を走らせる。
「ダメだ、完全に追跡不能。電磁波の痕跡さら残ってねぇ……」
「……にしても、あの消え方……まるでデータが削除されたみたいだぜ」
イビルゲートが静かに腕を組む。
「お行儀の悪いお客様……わたくしの魔力でも探知できませんわね」
「フッ……お見送りもさせてくれないなんて」
かなえがぽかんとした顔で言う。
「もしかして、怪物さんが……テレビの砂嵐みたいにどこかのお家にお引っ越ししたんですぅ……？」
ぐっ——と拳を握って、ななかが呟く。
「あいつ、絶対なんか知っとる……。あの日の事も……もしかしたらおかんの事も……」
「『キャッチ・ザ・ウェーブ』って言葉の意味も！」
くらら、イビルゲート、かなえ——三人が黙って、ななかの背中を見つめていた。

Kurara closed in on the monster, electricity crackling around her. Right on cue, Evilgate descended with a sweep of her dark wings.
“Sorry to keep you waiting.”
“Evilgate!”
Kanae came running up last.
“Sorry I’m laaate~! I got a little lost~!”
The monster scanned the circle of magical girls closing in around it, eyes narrowing.
“Buzz… all of them…!”
Then — the monster screamed.
“CATCH THE WAVE!!”
”!?”
Magical♡Noise’s eyes snapped wide open.
“W— wait a second!!”
A defiant grin crossed the monster’s face — and then its body crumbled apart like sand, dissolving into the air as if it had never existed.
“YOU LITTLE—!! Are you RUNNING AWAY?! COWARD!!”
“I hadn’t asked you a SINGLE important thing yet!!”
Nanaka lunged, reaching into the empty space — but there was nothing left. Only a fading afterimage.
Kurara’s eyes darted to the device on her wrist.
“No good. Completely untrackable. Not even an electromagnetic trace…”
”…And that disappearance. It was like data being deleted.”
Evilgate folded her arms with quiet composure.
“What a rude guest… even my magic can’t detect a thing.”
“Hmph. Leaving without even a proper farewell.”
Kanae blinked with a puzzled look.
“Um… do you think maybe the monster… moved house? Like, into someone’s TV static…?”
Nanaka slowly clenched her fist.
“That thing… it definitely knows something. About that day… maybe even about my mom…”
“And what ‘Catch the Wave’ even means!!”
Kurara. Evilgate. Kanae.
The three of them said nothing — just watched Nanaka’s back in silence.
